RV9For those of you who are new to our blog, we are a family of 8 that lives full time in our RV. When we sold our very comfortable home in the country I knew it was important to transform our recreational vehicle into a space that would actually feel like our home, since it was about to be our new home.  I had a lot of fun on this project. We have plenty of video documenting the process that we hope to post soon. If you have any questions please feel free to leave it in the comment section. If you would like to follow our journey make sure to Friend on us on Facebook We actually did some updates in the RV a couple of years ago. We put in wood flooring in the living room and I made a sofa cover to update the coach a bit.

RV before Remodel

We still need to make seat cushions for the kitchen, but we already have the material. We took                                                            out an ugly pink arm chair and replaced it with this nice bench that doubles as storage. family of 8 full time RVing

Details are so important to create a homey feel. This a faux candle on a timer.

Chalk board paint  and spray paint to give a modern look on the RV refrigerator.

There used to be a small microwave and ugly fan above the stove. We swapped out the cabinets and put a full size microwave/convection oven combo over the stove with a built in hood range.

I can fit half sheet cookie sheets in my oven. It is also a rangehood. I LOVE it.

I am a professional baker and Foodie,  so the kitchen remodel was very important to me.

I love this! My husband and I have been toying with the idea of living in a fifth wheel camper (almost) full time and I’ve been searching for ways to make a camper more like a home. Did I mention that we have 3 kids? I will definitely be following your blog from now on!
