Hi thanks for stopping in. If you landed on this page you may be like me either interested in great, nourishing, meal ideas or maybe you are frustrated because the world has become a place of scary eating choices.
I am a Foodie and I love all things that pertain to eating, cooking, nourishing and recipe development because I have a large family with food intolerances to feed. We have a family of 8 and all but one (He is still an infant) have food allergies and intolerances. If we can feed our family successfully I hope you know that you can do it too!
I hate to say it, but I think of myself as a Food Voyeur, for lack of a better term. The word comes from the French voyeur, “one who looks”. With the popularity of so many reality shows, it is not hard to see that people find interest in what others are doing. What it comes down to is this, people like to find inspiration in what others are doing or in this case EATING. I love to see what other people with food intolerances are cooking, creating or thriving on.
For those of you out there who are not specifically looking for a line by line recipe, but rather looking for recipe inspiration or maybe you are wondering how in the world does a family with so many food intolerances eat? (Yes, we have a lot!) Well then you came to the right place.
I will be posting photos of our meals with a list of some of the ingredients and food combinations used. We eat somethings on a 4 day rotational schedule and some things only once a week. We also prefer to follow food combining as much as possible and I have some kids on a modified SCD eating plan while most of us our grain free eaters, we do eat some gluten free grains at times. I should mention we also run a licensed gluten free home bakery with our baked goods being featured in some our local restaurants. We prefer to use honey as our main sweetener and we use only the finest organic ingredients!

Update: January 2014
In December we had a family over that prayed for us and ever since then we have had food FREEDOM. Our symptoms were many and very food specific. We have now been eating past offending food on rotation and we are not getting reactions any longer! It is a praise report for sure. What does this mean for our dining selections? We are still into optimum health and we do not want to take advantage of our new freedom so we are still eating on a loose rotation and we prefer gluten free.
